FAQ —
What is the difference between Double II and Balusters?
Double II is a twin rectangular post with a flat U-Panel cap, suited to modern linear architecture. Balusters are turned classical post profiles, suited to traditional and decorative architecture. Both are precast concrete and install onto a continuous coping.
What is the standard centre-to-centre spacing?
DII posts are typically set at 400 mm centres (post width 400 mm plus open span). Baluster spacing is set by the designer to suit the chosen profile and the maximum opening rule under the local building code. Typical baluster spacing is 100 to 150 mm clear opening.
What height of railing can be built?
Choose post height to match the required railing height. DII 400 suits low fence and rooftop parapet applications; DII 600 suits standard balcony balustrades; DII 800 suits stair and elevated platform balustrades. Balusters in the 600 to 750 mm range cover the same height applications as the DII series.
Are the railings supplied painted or finished?
No. Posts and caps are supplied in natural cement grey. Painting, rendering, or any decorative finish is applied on site.
