UiTM Puncak Alam

Location: Puncak Alam
Year: 2013
Project Type: Public Education Campus
Project Overview
As one of the largest public university campuses in Malaysia, UiTM Puncak Alam was developed to support a growing academic population with an emphasis on sustainability, durability, and passive climate control. The campus includes a wide range of facilities such as lecture halls, administrative buildings, residential colleges, and service areas, all of which required efficient, long-lasting construction solutions.
Use of PBM Ventilation Blocks
PBM’s VentBlocks were incorporated across multiple buildings within the campus for their functionality and performance in a tropical educational environment. The blocks were mainly used in stairwells, corridors, utility rooms, and mechanical zones to enable:

• Continuous passive airflow, improving indoor air quality in non-air-conditioned zones
•Natural daylighting without compromising privacy or safety
•Reduced energy consumption, aligning with green campus initiatives
•Robust durability for high-traffic, public institutional us
