Use of PBM Ventilation Blocks
PBM’s concrete ventilation blocks are used extensively throughout the facade and parking podium to deliver both visual rhythm and passive environmental control. The selection of block profiles adds depth and shadow to the architecture, while also supporting airflow across key structural zones.
Two PBM models were specified for this project:
•VB 412.125: A classic square block with four internal square openings, ideal for symmetrical light and ventilation patterns.
•VB 606.125: A bold geometric design featuring stacked triangles, offering a distinctive visual signature and effective shading.
These blocks are applied across vertical and horizontal planes to deliver a breathable yet private façade envelope—enhancing thermal comfort while contributing to the building’s architectural identity.
